Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities to develop personalized treatment plans addressing unique needs. Implement and document treatment regimens, modifying approaches based on patient response and progress. Utilize effective communication skills to educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and self-management strategies. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes and maintain accurate, timely patient records per state regulations. Meet established minimum utilization goals while delivering evidence-based care across orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine caseloads.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid State License in Physical Therapy for Florida
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting
- specific exposure to orthopedic rehabilitation
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in computer skills, including word processing and the use of electronic health record systems
- Work onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in Cypress, Florida
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with evidence-based treatment protocols and patient-centric care models
- Familiarity with exercise prescription software or rehabilitation management systems
- Ability to establish strong rapport with patients, allowing them to exceed their functional goals
- Proven ability to demonstrate a positive and supportive connection with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Previous experience building and maintaining community relationships to promote health and wellness
