Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' specific needs and rehabilitation goals, managing a caseload of one patient at a time to ensure individualized attention. Utilize advanced treatment modalities and evidence-based interventions to enhance mobility, developing comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's physical goals. Foster patient motivation by designing customized fitness programs, regularly assessing progress to adjust plans for optimal outcomes while documenting services meticulously in the electronic medical record system. Focus primarily on patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. Schedule Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, onsite at the Cypress, Florida location.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid Florida license as a Physical Therapist
- No history of disciplinary actions against your professional license
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Strong skills in developing and implementing exercise protocols for diverse patient needs
- Familiarity with WebPT or similar electronic medical record software
- Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings
- Prior work with a diverse patient demographic
- Internship in outpatient orthopedics
