Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop customized treatment plans for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Utilize expertise in manual therapy to implement effective treatment strategies, including non-surgical interventions focused on patient safety and cost-effective options. Create detailed care and rehabilitation plans integrating therapeutic techniques and exercises while monitoring progress to assess efficacy and adjust as needed. Educate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize outcomes. Document patient progress meticulously in electronic medical records systems. Work onsite from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapist license in California, with a clean record devoid of sanctions or board actions
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid background in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience in designing individualized exercise programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate and thorough documentation
- A commitment to continual learning, staying abreast of advancements in the field of physical therapy and rehabilitation
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Additional certifications in specialized physical therapy techniques or modalities
- A background in sports medicine or experience working with athletes
