Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Provide expert consultations to fellow healthcare providers and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care. Engage actively with patients of all ages while monitoring progress, documenting interventions accurately, and adjusting plans based on ongoing assessments. Lead and participate in community outreach efforts, supervise support staff and interns, and maintain continuous professional development through self-study and seminars. Work onsite in a home care setting with a 40-hour schedule including weekend shifts, adhering to vaccination requirements and drug-free workplace policies.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current active state license in Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work weekend shifts
- Must comply with vaccination requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous experience in home health or similar settings
