Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient assessments to establish individualized care plans for clients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and sports-related conditions. Design and implement effective treatment strategies utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education to maximize healing and restore function. Monitor progress and modify treatments responsively while collaborating with physicians to execute comprehensive rehabilitation protocols. Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and provide emotional support throughout their recovery journey.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Proven skills in patient assessment, treatment planning, and the execution of effective rehabilitation interventions
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capacity to adapt to various patient personalities and needs
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
