Job Summary
Orthopedic Physician Associate for telehealth-enabled orthopedic care in the Nevada market. Responsibilities include performing initial telehealth visits (diagnosis, ordering imaging, referrals for in-person care), conducting in-office injections 2-3 days per week, building patient trust and delivering empathetic, evidence-based care, coordinating with physical therapists, physicians, and other Icons clinical team, creating personalized treatment plans with the care coordinator, and contributing to product enhancement through feedback on the technology platform. Hybrid role with remote telehealth and weekly on-site visits; requires 5+ years of outpatient orthopedic PA experience, and licensure in NV (TX preferred) with capability to license in both jurisdictions. Competitive compensation commensurate with experience; malpractice and supervising physician support; licensing fees covered; CME stipend; full benefits; 401k; no nights, weekends, or on-call.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years as a PA practicing in outpatient orthopedics
- Preferred candidate licensed in both Nevada and Texas (or ability to become licensed in both)
- Excellent interpersonal and clinician-to-clinician coordination skills
- Comfortable learning and utilizing telehealth and technology platforms
- Hybrid work model with remote telehealth and weekly on-site visits
- Full-time hours (Mon-Fri, 8-5 or 9-5 in local time)
- State licensing and NCCPA fees covered
- Malpractice and supervising MD provided
- CME stipend $500/year
- No nights, weekends, or on-call
