Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and establish tailored treatment objectives. Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient per hour while utilizing evidence-based practices, manual therapy techniques, and structured exercise programs to enhance mobility and reduce pain. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and occupational therapists to create cohesive care strategies, document progress meticulously, and implement educational workshops on fitness and injury prevention. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a busy outpatient orthopedic facility focused on non-surgical recovery for individuals with orthopedic injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
- Clear disciplinary record with no board actions against the license.
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and their practical application.
- Capable of designing and implementing effective exercise programs personalized to patient needs.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, for patient documentation and management.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, ideally in physical therapy roles.
- Previous work with a diverse patient population with varying levels of injury and rehabilitation needs.
- Experience in patient education and community outreach in wellness initiatives.
