Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments and devise individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Implement therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and exercise programs while monitoring progress and updating electronic medical records. Offer educational sessions on injury prevention, posture, and ergonomics to foster patient autonomy. Collaborate proactively with physicians, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate integrated care plans. Engage in regular case discussions to share insights and contribute to the professional development of Physical Therapy Assistants and student interns. Participate in ongoing professional education initiatives to stay updated on the latest treatment modalities.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Experience managing sports injuries
- Experience managing post-operative rehabilitation
- Experience managing chronic pain conditions
