Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for patients with orthopedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and chronic pain. Create individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and implement therapeutic modalities such as manual therapy, exercises, and functional training to restore mobility. Educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs while collaborating with orthopedic specialists and other healthcare staff to coordinate care. Monitor and document patient progress in our Electronic Medical Records system, adjusting protocols based on recovery advancements. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in our outpatient facility in Norway, Michigan.

Required Qualifications

A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Michigan
A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or an equivalent qualification
Demonstrated clinical expertise in orthopedic outpatient therapy
minimum of two years of experience
Excellent communication skills
Ability to relate well with patients
Ability to devise and implement robust patient-specific treatment plans
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Capability to work autonomously
Capability to function as a collaborative team member
Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
Strong familiarity with physical therapy equipment

Successful track record of developing and executing ambitious rehabilitation plans
Ability to foster strong relationships with patients
