Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical capabilities and needs, then develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced equipment. Provide hands-on treatment through physical manipulation and massage to facilitate healing, while instructing patients and families on proper exercise techniques and self-management strategies. Monitor patient progress continuously, adjust treatment plans based on individual responses, and maintain precise records ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
- Demonstrated ability to assess and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in developing specialty programs for injury prevention and rehabilitation of athletes
