Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine individual needs and develop targeted treatment plans reflecting evidence-based practices. Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercises, and modalities to promote recovery for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and neurological conditions. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and lifestyle modifications while collaborating with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapist License is required for the state of California.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field from an accredited institution is essential.
- Strong manual therapy skills with experience in outpatient orthopedic therapy.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that foster strong patient relationships and team cooperation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and therapeutic techniques relevant to outpatient physical therapy practices.
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of hands-on experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, demonstrating your capabilities and patient handling skills in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to work both independently and within a team, showcasing both leadership and collaboration in delivering patient-centered care.
