Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess functional abilities and limitations, then develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training. Instruct patients and families on rehabilitation strategies, emphasize injury prevention, and monitor progress to modify plans as necessary for optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Work Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM in our outpatient clinic in Montgomery, NY, where we prioritize individualized care and evidence-based practices to enhance patient recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapist license in New York
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or Doctorate
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for patient documentation and scheduling
- Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and tools
- Strong interpersonal skills
