Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans for patients recovering from sports injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain. Deliver one-on-one physical therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education. Monitor progress through consistent assessments, adapt strategies as needed, and educate patients on preventive strategies and health management. Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system while collaborating with healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Advocate for non-surgical interventions and foster a positive clinic culture through active participation in team meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with no sanctions or board actions in your history
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Solid foundation in designing and executing exercise regimens
- Strong understanding of evidence-based physical therapy methodologies
- Commitment to lifelong learning
- Experience using electronic medical record software for maintaining accurate patient documentation
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, with proven success in patient treatment and management
