Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine physical therapy needs and develop tailored, evidence-based rehabilitation plans for orthopedic injuries, including post-operative conditions, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain. Utilize manual therapy techniques, movement-based treatment strategies, and functional strength training to enhance patient recovery, while monitoring and adjusting protocols based on progress. Educate patients and families on injury prevention and provide home exercise guidance, maintaining detailed records to comply with regulatory requirements. Manage a caseload of 6–8 patients daily in an outpatient setting. Requires a valid New York State license; salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- A valid, active New York State Physical Therapist license
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds
Desired Qualifications
