Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions, including physical examinations, movement analysis, and patient history. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and patient education. Utilize electronic medical records to document progress and adjust strategies as necessary. Provide guidance and motivation to patients during sessions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to formulate comprehensive treatment approaches. Educate clients on preventive care, lifestyle modifications, and home exercises to maintain physical health. This role focuses on orthopedic patients ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management, including active adults and seniors.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Physical Therapist License in the state of Washington
- A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic care setting
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy
- Proficient in electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with WebPT
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience implementing advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens tailored to orthopedic patients
- Familiarity with outcome measures and rehabilitation protocols specific to orthopedic patients
- Continuous education in specialized orthopedic treatment methods or modalities
