Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine effective treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical interventions, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Implement personalized physical therapy programs utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while maintaining a manageable caseload. Develop clear recovery goals, evaluate progress, and modify treatment plans using evidence-based practices alongside patient education on self-management. Document all sessions meticulously in Web PT EMR software and collaborate regularly with healthcare providers to ensure integrated care.
Required Qualifications
- Active Professional Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida
- Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques
- Solid understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation protocols
- Capability to effectively document patient care and treatment plans using EMR software, particularly Web PT
- Proven record of implementing successful exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrated success in developing and applying innovative treatment strategies for patients with complex conditions
- Additional certification in specialized physical therapy treatment modalities
