Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish physical abilities and limitations, then implement individualized, evidence-based rehabilitation plans tailored to unique recovery goals. Utilize manual therapy, movement-based treatments, and functional strength training programs to facilitate healing, enhance mobility, and reduce injury risk. Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and injury prevention strategies while documenting progress meticulously in compliance with legal requirements. Engage actively in team meetings and training sessions to maintain expertise and service quality within a multidisciplinary outpatient setting focused on orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Current New York State Physical Therapist license
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
