Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess physical abilities and limitations related to orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular reeducation, and modalities. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously while adapting strategies based on ongoing assessments and clinical guidelines. Provide education to patients and families regarding conditions and rehabilitation protocols, including training on assistive device usage. Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and peer discussions. Work Monday through Friday with flexible scheduling options.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A current state license to practice physical therapy in Florida
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications
- A commitment to professional growth, demonstrated by a willingness to engage in additional training and education
