Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, traumatic injuries, and chronic pain. Conduct comprehensive evaluations using diagnostic assessments, administer therapeutic modalities including manual therapy and exercise prescription, and oversee physical therapy assistants. Assess home environments to identify rehabilitation barriers, educate patients on assistive devices, and create accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during case conferences to optimize patient outcomes. Requires a current New Jersey PT license, one year of experience, and CPR certification. Monday to Friday onsite schedule at Joint Ventures Physical Therapy in Red Bank.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a licensed physical therapist
- Experience within an acute care or home care setting
- A current PT license in good standing in the state of New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license
- Automobile insurance
- Ability to travel locally
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Previous mentorship or leadership experience with physical therapy assistants
- Advanced training in specific therapeutic modalities or techniques related to orthopedic rehabilitation
