Job Summary
Perform thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to assess mobility, strength, and functional capabilities. Develop and implement customized therapy programs utilizing evidence-based practices, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and neuromuscular re-education to restore movement and alleviate pain. Integrate advanced diagnostic methods to determine effective treatment paths and instruct patients and families in injury prevention strategies and home exercise regimens. Collaborate closely with physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff to establish cohesive care plans ensuring optimal outcomes for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. Maintain clear communication with all parties while adapting treatments to support individual physical and emotional well-being in the home setting.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
- A strong clinical foundation in orthopedic and sports medicine settings
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong communication abilities
- A genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery and improving their quality of life through guided rehabilitation
- A minimum of 2 years of practical experience as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in home care or outpatient settings
- Demonstrated success in creating personalized care plans and adjusting them as needed to meet the evolving needs of patients
- A proven track record of collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
