Job Summary
Deliver direct physical therapy interventions to alleviate pain and improve muscle function in accordance with individualized care plans. Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional levels and assess home environments to recommend modifications. Guide and supervise physical therapy assistants while implementing manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises and advanced physical agents. Assess, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices in collaboration with physicians. Develop and update care plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries. Collaborate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and engage with patients and families to provide education on therapy techniques. This full-time role in Baltimore, Maryland, requires a DPT degree, current Maryland licensure, and one year of relevant experience. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience as a physical therapist in acute care, home care settings, or as mandated by law
- Current PT licensure in good standing within the state of Maryland
- Valid CPR certification
- A driver's license
- Automobile insurance
