Job Summary
Develop and execute individualized treatment plans for patients recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and musculoskeletal disorders. Manage an efficient caseload focusing on one patient per hour, utilizing advanced manual therapy techniques and cost-effective evidence-based modalities to restore mobility. Create tailored fitness programs, regularly assess outcomes in WebPT, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a collaborative outpatient setting with two physical therapists and one PTA.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Exemplary professional record demonstrating no history of board or disciplinary actions
- Competent in manual therapy techniques
- Familiar with orthopedic assessment protocols
- Strong skills in developing and implementing comprehensive exercise protocols for various populations
- Proficient in the use of electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Expertise in working with diverse patient populations and adapting treatment methodologies accordingly
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient engagement and collaboration with healthcare teams
