Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and limitations, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs and rehabilitation goals. Deliver hands-on therapy utilizing techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to promote optimal recovery. Monitor patients' progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans based on their evolving conditions. Document patient responses to treatment, ensuring all records meet established standards for accuracy. Educate patients on best practices for rehabilitation and injury prevention. Work primarily with adult patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, postoperative recovery, and chronic pain syndromes. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including occupational therapists, physicians, and support staff. Submit a resume and cover letter detailing relevant experience and interest in the role.
Required Qualifications
- A current and valid Physical Therapist license in New York State
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate level degree
