Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs and objectives, then develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans incorporating manual therapy and therapeutic exercise programming. Maintain a caseload allowing for one-on-one attention with an average of one patient per hour, utilizing cost-effective methods to maximize range of motion and minimize reliance on pain medications. Design customized fitness programs tailored to individual goals, monitor progress to adjust plans as necessary, and accurately document all interactions in compliance with organizational standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including referring physicians to ensure comprehensive care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid California Physical Therapist license without any disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with therapeutic exercise programming
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Demonstrating a strong understanding of orthopedic conditions
- Understanding of rehabilitation processes
