Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing physical capabilities and developing individualized treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions for orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions, adjusting techniques based on patient progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance outcomes through integrated care approaches and share insights in therapy methodologies. Educate patients and caregivers about treatment goals and recovery strategies to empower their health journey. Deliver exceptional customer service by fostering trust and rapport with each patient and their families. Achieve minimum utilization goals and contribute to the center's overall performance objectives through effective therapy management. Work onsite Monday through Friday in a 40-hour week.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- State licensure in Physical Therapy to practice within Florida
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency with word processing and digital documentation systems
- Capability to build trusting relationships with patients
Desired Qualifications
- A doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Experience in specialty rehabilitation, particularly orthopedic and sports medicine
