Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to communicate care continuity, educate patients on therapeutic procedures and self-care strategies, and implement evidence-based treatment adjustments. Document all interactions, plans, and outcomes efficiently while submitting charges, and participate in outreach initiatives promoting injury prevention wellness. Supervise and mentor assigned support staff, engage in ongoing professional development, and maintain an active role in staff meetings. Weekly hours total 40 with weekend variation based on patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Current licensing in New Jersey or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace
- May require specific vaccinations
- Weekly working hours will total 40
