Job Summary
Assess patients' needs and establish tailored treatment goals, then manage a caseload of one patient per hour to ensure focused care. Utilize expertise in orthopedic care to design and implement treatment plans that improve range of motion and mobility, employing evidence-based techniques such as manual therapy and strength training. Document all patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously, while evaluating outcomes and monitoring progress through clear communication with patients and families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for adult clients dealing with orthopedic issues, injury, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts
- Strong record of professional conduct with no disciplinary actions against the license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Ability to create effective exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings
- Proven track record of treating patients with diverse musculoskeletal issues
- Ability to devise comprehensive and individualized treatment plans
- Background in sports medicine
- Background in rehabilitation
