Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather medical history, identify needs, and set realistic treatment goals for diverse populations ranging from young athletes to older adults. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities while monitoring and documenting patient responses to adjust care for optimal outcomes. Supervise therapy assistants and collaborate with physicians to manage cases, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our state-of-the-art Ventura facility, focusing on post-operative rehabilitation, chronic pain, and sports injuries.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California
- Valid American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification
- Proficiency in operating physical therapy equipment and performing functional evaluations independently
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster productive relations with patients, multidisciplinary teams, and families
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic setting, with familiarity working with patients recovering from surgeries and acute injuries
- Background in using advanced technologies and treatment methods in physical therapy settings
- Demonstrated ability to create and conduct educational workshops for patients and the community on the principles of physical health and injury prevention
