Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Position

Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations and screenings to assess patient needs and determine appropriate treatment protocols for orthopedic cases, including post-operative, chronic pain, and sports injury recovery. Design, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and progress, utilizing evidence-based practices. Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and rehabilitation technicians, providing guidance and oversight in delivering care. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting progress notes and treatment outcomes to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Engage with patients in education about their conditions and treatment options, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages questions and patient involvement in their recovery process. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss patient updates and improve integrated care strategies. Work Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a supportive, interdisciplinary rehabilitation facility in El Dorado Hills, California.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association
- Valid licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of California
- Current certification in CPR from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with therapeutic modalities
- A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a physical therapy setting, with particular emphasis on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Experience in utilizing digital documentation systems and electronic health records for patient management
- Knowledge of current trends and evidence-based practices in physical therapy
