Job Summary
Conduct personalized assessments and deliver evidence-based orthopedic treatment strategies to manage a caseload of one patient per hour. Develop comprehensive care plans incorporating manual therapy, exercise protocols, and fitness programs to enhance range of motion and mobility. Collaborate with physicians and specialists to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and maintain thorough documentation using WebPT. Work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm in a therapist-owned practice serving post-surgical and chronic pain patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT)
- Current and valid state license as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Exemplary professional record with no disciplinary actions pertaining to the license
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Demonstrated competence in developing and implementing exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs
- Experienced in utilizing EMR software, particularly WebPT, for efficient patient management and documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Prior clinical experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Experience with diverse treatment modalities and evidence-based practice in physical therapy
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
