Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with their specific goals. Manage a caseload effectively, seeing one patient per hour to ensure focused attention while utilizing evidence-based techniques like manual therapies, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Implement cost-effective solutions to enhance range of motion and mobility, exploring alternatives to surgical procedures. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as needed. Document all interactions accurately using WebPT and engage patients in their recovery through education and tailored fitness programs. Work onsite within the home care facility, focusing on orthopedic patients from post-operative recovery to injury rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist, with no record of disciplinary actions
- Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and exercise protocol development
- Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly in utilizing WebPT for patient documentation and record-keeping
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical orthopedic outpatient setting, with a strong understanding of common musculoskeletal conditions
- Experience in developing customized rehabilitation programs based on the latest evidence and proven best practices
