Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions and develop customized treatment strategies for orthopedic concerns ranging from post-operative rehabilitation to preventative care. Manage a patient caseload of one patient per hour, implementing cost-efficient therapeutic interventions to enhance range of motion and mobility. Create detailed care plans incorporating various modalities, design personalized fitness programs, and deliver comprehensive patient education to empower rehabilitation. Monitor progress, adjust treatments as necessary, and maintain precise documentation of all interactions. Collaborate with the team and other healthcare providers to reduce medication reliance and explore conservative treatment options. Work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM in a spacious 5000 square foot sports medicine environment.
Required Qualifications
- A valid California license as a Physical Therapist
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting
- Strong capability in developing and executing exercise protocols based on patient-specific goals
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Experience working in a private practice setting
- Specialty certifications or advanced training in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Evidence of continuing education in relevant physical therapy disciplines
