Job Summary
Assess patient needs and rehabilitation goals while managing a caseload of one-on-one therapy sessions lasting one hour. Utilize evidence-based interventions to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, employing manual therapy techniques to enhance range of motion and mobility. Reduce medication reliance by promoting non-surgical treatment options and inspire patients with tailored fitness and wellness programs. Document all interactions meticulously, monitor progress, and adjust care plans as necessary. Collaborate closely with physicians and specialists to provide comprehensive care, educating patients on healthy lifestyles to improve strength, balance, and coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license as a Physical Therapist, with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
- Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and a proven ability to create effective exercise protocols.
- Proficiency in utilizing WebPT EMR Software for documentation and patient management.
- Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Previous experience working in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to foster patient engagement and motivation throughout the treatment process.
- Experience in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs that promote patient independence.
