Job Summary
Deliver exceptional orthopedic physical therapy services tailored to patients recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Conduct thorough assessments to develop individualized treatment plans, then implement evidence-based practices to improve outcomes and speed recovery. Monitor patient progress, adjusting plans as necessary, while educating families on injury prevention and home exercises. Maintain accurate medical records and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure integrated care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a well-equipped rehabilitation facility.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic therapy
- Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills, with the ability to apply them effectively in a busy outpatient environment
- Exceptional communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization or additional certifications in orthopedic physical therapy
- Experience with advanced therapeutic technologies and treatment techniques, such as dry needling or functional training
