Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to orthopedic needs and medical histories. Administer hands-on therapeutic techniques aimed at reducing pain and improving mobility, such as joint mobilizations, manual therapy, and therapeutic exercises. Implement and adjust treatment plans based on real-time progress and patient feedback, ensuring an adaptive approach to rehabilitation. Document patient progress systematically in electronic health records and lead educational sessions for patients and families regarding home exercise programs. Focus on individuals recovering from orthopedic issues, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, catering to patients of all ages. Work onsite with a multidisciplinary team Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic conditions
- Demonstrated abilities in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with patients and collaborating effectively with team members

- Specialized training or certification in orthopedic physical therapy practices
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track patient data and progress
