Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient conditions and limitations, creating individualized therapy plans for orthopedic cases involving sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Manage a caseload of one patient per hour while utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve mobility and functional capabilities. Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to devise treatment strategies, and document progress meticulously in WebPT or similar EMR systems. Provide encouragement and support to help patients stay motivated throughout their recovery journey. This role requires a Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy with an active Washington license and at least two years of orthopedic clinical experience.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Washington
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience in orthopedic care, with hands-on expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Strong skills in communication and patient engagement to effectively convey treatment plans and progress with patients and their families
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), particularly WebPT
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a clinical setting focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation
- Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation practices and evidence-based treatments that enhance patient outcomes
