Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions. Design and implement personalized rehabilitation programs integrating therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, while delivering hands-on therapy with real-time adjustments. Maintain open communication to explain treatment goals and document progress accurately in the EMR system. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care through regular case discussions and multidisciplinary meetings. This full-time role at our outpatient clinic in Olympia, WA, focuses on empowering patients to regain strength and function through evidence-based practices within a supportive, collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid Physical Therapy license issued by the state of Washington
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and manual therapy techniques
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients and colleagues
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting, specifically in orthopedics
- A strong foundation in therapeutic exercise prescription and rehabilitation program design based on patient-centered outcomes
- Experience engaging with a variety of patient demographics, utilizing tailored approaches to meet their unique rehabilitation needs
