Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional capabilities, then implement hands-on therapeutic interventions using evidence-based techniques. Document progress meticulously in the WebPT EMR system while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive care. Educate patients and families on home exercise programs to promote rehabilitation outside the clinic, focusing on orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Work traditional hours Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, or an alternative four-day schedule.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active Missouri Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients of all backgrounds
- Demonstrated capability to work independently within a team-focused environment while managing time effectively
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with WebPT EMR or similar documentation systems
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, showcasing a strong clinical background
- Experience in implementing treatment plans for diverse patient populations and a strong grasp of current rehabilitation methodologies
