Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical condition, including range of motion, strength assessment, and functional movement analysis. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments, continually adapting strategies to reflect patient progress and feedback. Employ evidence-based treatment modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to facilitate optimum recovery. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to develop cohesive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of patients. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation to track progress and inform future treatment decisions. Provide education to patients and their families about injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and self-care strategies that can enhance recovery at home. Deliver personalized therapy services directly within patients' homes Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in providing orthopedic physical therapy services
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills with a focus on evidence-based practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and interdisciplinary team members
