Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions to identify specific needs and physical limitations. Create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to restore mobility and decrease pain. Provide hands-on therapy treating one patient at a time while monitoring progress and documenting outcomes meticulously to adjust plans as necessary. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians and specialists to deliver coordinated care. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM at our state-of-the-art facility in Gardnerville, NV. Participate in a structured mentorship program led by a fellowship-trained therapist to enhance clinical skills.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in an outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation setting
- Expertise in manual therapy techniques
- Familiarity with rehabilitation protocols
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to collaboration and teamwork in a clinical environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree
- Previous experience in a similar outpatient orthopedic setting
- A strong foundation in treating various musculoskeletal disorders
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
