Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess orthopedic conditions and devise effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Implement treatment interventions based on physician directives, ensuring safety and compliance with clinic policies. Facilitate patient education by explaining treatment processes, home care options, and rehabilitation exercises. Monitor patient progress through consistent assessment and documentation, refining treatment plans to optimize recovery outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care and share relevant patient information. Work primarily with diverse populations including post-surgical patients, athletes, and seniors requiring customized strategies. Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
- A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida
- At least three years of experience in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency in orthopedic rehabilitation
- Certifications in First Aid, AED, and CPR
- Strong computer skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation software
