Job Summary
Conduct detailed assessments to identify individual patient goals and physical requirements, then manage a caseload seeing one patient per hour with tailored treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based orthopedic approaches to improve mobility and range of motion, designing comprehensive care plans that emphasize cost-effective solutions. Motivate patients during recovery while collaborating with specialists and support staff to ensure cohesive treatment. Track progress through regular evaluations and maintain accurate documentation of services provided. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a team of two experienced therapists and one PTA.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- Impeccable professional record without board or disciplinary actions
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and orthopedic rehabilitation practices
- Exceptional skills in crafting and implementing tailored exercise protocols suitable for diverse patient needs
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Background in orthopedic outpatient settings
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years of direct experience providing physical therapy in a similar environment
- Experience with sports rehabilitation
- Experience with post-surgical recovery
- Experience with specific orthopedic conditions
- Familiarity with WebPT
