Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments of patients with orthopedic conditions to determine physical therapy needs and develop individualized evidence-based treatment plans. Provide hands-on treatment including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and specialized modalities while monitoring progress to modify plans for optimal outcomes. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and physicians to ensure continuity of care, educate patients on injury prevention and home exercises, and document all interactions in electronic health records. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in an outpatient setting serving diverse populations recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical recovery, and musculoskeletal disorders.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a physical therapist
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to develop customized treatment plans
- Exceptional communication skills
