Job Summary
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and treatment needs, then manage a caseload providing one-on-one sessions, typically seeing one patient per hour. Design and implement comprehensive care plans encompassing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training to restore mobility and reduce reliance on medications. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care, regularly evaluate outcomes, and document services accurately while educating patients and families on treatment plans. Work onsite Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM within a 5,000-square-foot outpatient facility specializing in orthopedic injuries and chronic pain management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California
- Unblemished professional record, free from any disciplinary actions against your license
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques
- Exceptional competency in developing and executing exercise protocols
Desired Qualifications
- Experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting
