Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders by reviewing medical histories and performing specific assessments. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient progress, while communicating findings and goals with patients and families. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to document condition changes and manage comprehensive discharge planning for continuity of care. Maintain an accurate schedule, participate in departmental meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development through continuing education and clinical instruction. Work onsite Monday to Friday at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in North Fort Myers, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state license to practice physical therapy as required by Florida law
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Prior experience in a clinical setting
- Completed internships or clinical rotations in orthopedic physical therapy
