Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient needs, establish rehabilitation goals, and develop tailored treatment plans integrating various therapeutic modalities. Manage a focused caseload averaging one patient per hour while delivering evidence-based treatments to improve range of motion, strength, and functional mobility. Implement cost-effective solutions to minimize medication reliance and collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care services in compliance with regulatory standards. Primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders, guiding them to achieve independence and improved function.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
- A valid state license in Virginia.
- A clean professional record without history of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
- Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of effective exercise protocols.
- Competence in using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing expertise in injury recovery and rehabilitation.
- Evidence of successful implementation of individualized treatment plans that result in measurable patient progress.
