Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify movement limitations and create individualized treatment plans addressing specific patient goals. Manage a caseload by treating one patient per hour, utilizing evidence-based practices, advanced manual therapy techniques, and therapeutic modalities to restore function. Instruct patients in evidence-based exercises for strength and flexibility while documenting progress meticulously and adjusting strategies based on ongoing evaluations. Facilitate communication with interdisciplinary health professionals to deliver holistic care for individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries and musculoskeletal conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- Current and valid Virginia state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
- Maintained a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions against your license
- Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques and proficiency in developing exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs
- Strong familiarity with WebPT EMR Software
Desired Qualifications
- Previous clinical experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a successful track record in patient recovery and rehabilitation
- Experience in developing and implementing fitness and wellness programs for diverse populations
