Job Summary
Assess patient goals and needs to tailor treatment plans, managing a caseload of 2-3 individuals per hour with personalized interventions. Deliver cost-effective physical therapy treatments using diverse modalities to improve mobility and reduce discomfort, while developing comprehensive care plans and implementing customized fitness programs. Monitor progress through evaluation, documentation, and communication, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care delivery. Motivate patients throughout recovery, focusing on strength, flexibility, and coordination for those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary actions
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) number or the capability to obtain one before employment starts
- Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM
- Onsite role
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in orthopedic outpatient physical therapy
- Strong manual therapy and exercise prescription skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software, such as WebPT
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
