Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patient mobility, strength, and functional limitations, then develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals. Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote recovery for orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain. Educate patients and caregivers on self-management strategies while documenting all interactions to maintain regulatory compliance. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes and participate in regular training sessions. Work onsite Monday through Friday for 40 hours per week at our modern Rehabilitation Center in The Villages, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited institution
- Active state license to practice Physical Therapy
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in using computer systems for patient documentation and scheduling

- Strong background in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy
- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with evidence-based practices
