Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy assessments to establish baselines and identify goals for a diverse patient population. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's medical history, limitations, and recovery objectives. Utilize innovative therapeutic techniques and evidence-based methodologies to achieve optimal patient outcomes while documenting progress and modifying plans as necessary. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and rehabilitation specialists, to provide coordinated care and educate patients on injury prevention and home exercise routines. Work onsite at our outpatient office in Edison, New Jersey, participating in staff meetings and training sessions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- A valid physical therapist license/certification in the state of New Jersey
- At least two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy
- Excellent clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Specialization in orthopedic physical therapy
- Additional certifications in related fields
- Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Proven history of collaboration within a multidisciplinary team
